Board Members, Athletics Tasman Board (Two Vacancies)

Join Us in Growing Athletics and Building Community Through Sport!

Athletics Tasman is seeking two new Board Members to help shape the future of athletics in our region. With a mission to deliver outstanding athletics experiences through quality track and field and out of stadia events (cross country, road, and trail activities), we play a vital role in inspiring and connecting Tasman through athletics.

This is an exciting time to join Athletics Tasman, as a growing interest in running sweeps through Tasman and Athletics New Zealand targets our region for expansion. The regions new Tasman Development Manager is also working closely with Athletics Tasman and Sport Tasman to enhance development opportunities for all.

The only requirement is that you are from our Member Clubs. The Board is keen to attract interest from people who understand the sport of athletics and wish to be involved in the development and management of the sport in the Tasman region.

A passion for community development and the role of sport in fostering personal growth and belonging is essential. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact in Tasman, working alongside dedicated partners and community clubs.

The term for each elected Board Member is three years.
